Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is the next generation of PRP — a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrate of your own blood to support natural tissue repair and rejuvenation. PRF contains platelets, white blood cells and a fibrin matrix, and is applied to areas such as the skin, under-eyes or scalp to stimulate collagen production, improve skin quality and support healthier, more refreshed-looking skin.

Concentrated growth factors and healing proteins from your own blood help stimulate natural collagen production for firmer, healthier-looking skin.

PRF's higher platelet concentration releases growth factors gradually over several days, supporting longer-lasting improvement in fine lines, wrinkles and skin quality.

Refreshes the Under-Eye Area

Helps improve the appearance of under-eye hollows, crepiness and fine lines for a more rested, refreshed look — using your body's own growth factors rather than synthetic filler.
Supports Hair Growth & Thickness

Supports Hair Growth & Thickness

When injected into the scalp, PRF can help support thinning hair and encourage healthier, fuller-looking growth. (For hair-focused treatment, see our Hair Loss page.)
Natural Overall Rejuvenation

Natural Overall Rejuvenation

Because it uses your own blood, PRF supports natural-looking improvement in skin texture, firmness and overall facial freshness.

How it works

PRF treatment works by using a concentrated version of your own blood to promote tissue regeneration and healing. First, a small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate it into layers, isolating a fibrin-rich gelcontaining platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. This PRF gel is then applied to the target area (e.g., injected into the skin or scalp), where it releases growth factors to stimulate new cell production, increase collagen and elastin, and improve skin or hair follicle health.

Your practitioner will assess suitability during consultation.

Because PRF uses your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. As with any injectable treatment, temporary swelling, redness, or bruising may occur.

Results develop gradually as PRF supports natural collagen production and tissue regeneration. Improvements are typically noticed over several weeks.

A series of treatments is often recommended for optimal results. Your personalised treatment plan will be discussed during consultation.

Most clients experience minimal downtime. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and usually resolves within a few days.

PRF may not be suitable for individuals who:

  • Have active infections
  • Have certain blood disorders
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

A full medical assessment will be conducted prior to treatment.

PRF is a higher-risk cosmetic procedure that involves taking a small sample of your blood and reinjecting or applying it to the skin, so it's important to understand what's involved before you decide.

include bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness or itching at the treated or injection sites; pinpoint bleeding; and temporary lumps or firmness. Less commonly, there is a risk of infection, changes in skin colour, or, as with any procedure that breaks the skin, more serious complications.

most people have redness, swelling or bruising for a few days (this can last longer around the eyes). You may be advised to avoid makeup, strenuous exercise, alcohol, heat (saunas/hot showers) and sun exposure for a short period, and to follow specific aftercare.

vary from person to person, are not guaranteed, and usually require a course of treatments plus maintenance. PRF is not suitable for everyone, including people with certain blood conditions or active infections, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

A consultation with a registered health practitioner is required before treatment to assess your suitability and discuss the risks, benefits, alternatives and recovery relevant to you.

All cosmetic procedures carry risks, and outcomes vary from person to person. These procedures may involve side effects, complications, recovery periods, and the need for ongoing care. No treatment can be guaranteed to achieve a specific result, and individual responses will differ depending on personal factors such as health history and anatomy.

Our advertising does not use testimonials or before-and-after images, as these may create unrealistic expectations. We also do not target people under 18. A consultation is required before any procedure, during which a registered health practitioner will discuss your goals, the potential risks and benefits, alternative options, recovery requirements, and whether the procedure is suitable for you.

Deciding to undergo a cosmetic procedure should be a carefully considered choice. We encourage you to take time, ask questions, and make an informed decision that is right for you.
