To ensure patients experience the best results that Ultraformer MPT offers, they will be advised of the following pre-treatment advice:
PREPARATION
- Discontinue retinol products (prescription or high-strength) 5 days before treatment.
- Increase hydration 1 week prior to your appointment to ensure the skin is well-hydrated.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., ibuprofen, Voltaren) for 24 hours before treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor.
- Stay hydrated and avoid strong sun exposure for one week prior.
- Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments for two weeks before your session.
- Wait at least 4-6 weeks after any injectable treatments (such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, or Bioremodelling) before undergoing thermaeg FLX.
- Wait at least 4-6 moths after any other Skin lifting and firming treatments (such as Ultherapy、thermage FLX) before undergoing Ultafomer MPT.
WHAT TO EXPECT
After cleansing the skin and mapping treatment areas, a cooling gel is applied, and the Ultraformer MPT handpiece glides smoothly over the skin to deliver focused ultrasound lines.You may feel a brief warm, prickling sensation deep beneath the skin — a sign that collagen stimulation has begun.

AFTERCARE
Ultraformer MPT Aftercare Instructions
After receiving Ultraformer MPT treatment, follow these aftercare guidelines carefully to ensure optimal results and minimise discomfort or side effects.
- Mild redness, warmth, tingling, or sensitivity may occur after treatment and is normal. These symptoms typically subside within 24 hours to 2 weeks. In rare cases, mild tingling may persist for up to 3 weeks.
- Use gentle skincare products and basic moisturisers to maintain hydration and soothe the skin.
- Avoid occlusive ointments and makeup for the first 8 hours after treatment.
- Avoid heat exposure for 24 hours, including strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths, or hot showers.
- Do not take anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., ibuprofen, Voltaren) for 24 hours post-treatment, unless prescribed.
- Paracetamol (Panadol) may be taken after the procedure if needed to relieve mild discomfort.
- Avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours. If outdoor exposure is necessary, wear a hat and apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen.

This advanced technology uses Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound (MMFU) to support tailored treatment depths and precise delivery for enhanced results.
