How it works

PRF treatment works by using a concentrated version of your own blood to promote tissue regeneration and healing. First, a small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate it into layers, isolating a fibrin-rich gelcontaining platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. This PRF gel is then applied to the target area (e.g., injected into the skin or scalp), where it releases growth factors to stimulate new cell production, increase collagen and elastin, and improve skin or hair follicle health.

PRF(Platelet-Rich Fibrin) FAQs

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a regenerative treatment derived from your own blood. It contains concentrated platelets, fibrin, and growth factors that support natural tissue repair and collagen stimulation.

Centrifugation Force

PRP

Processed using high G-force centrifugation.

The majority of the cells are pushed to the bottom of the tube.

This allows more cells to remain within the upper plasma layer.

Your practitioner will assess suitability during consultation.

Because PRF uses your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. As with any injectable treatment, temporary swelling, redness, or bruising may occur.

Results develop gradually as PRF supports natural collagen production and tissue regeneration. Improvements are typically noticed over several weeks.

A series of treatments is often recommended for optimal results. Your personalised treatment plan will be discussed during consultation.

Most clients experience minimal downtime. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and usually resolves within a few days.

PRF may not be suitable for individuals who:

  • Have active infections
  • Have certain blood disorders
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

A full medical assessment will be conducted prior to treatment.
