How does Ultherapy work?

Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that utilises ultrasound technology to tone and tighten the face, neck and decolletage areas. The focused ultrasound energy stimulates the body’s natural regenerative responses to build new collagen, gently and gradually lifting and smoothing the skin.

Ultherapy is unique in the way it focuses the ultrasound energy to an optimised point beneath the skin’s surface and delivers the energy at an optimised temperature. At this focused point, the energy heats the tissue, triggering a natural regenerative response that produces new collagen in the skin.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime with Ultherapy, but you may feel a little warm and red after treatment, which usually disappears within 24-48 hours.

How many treatments are required?

We recommend once yearly treatments to maintain results.

Is the treatment painful?

Each person will experience a different sensation depending on their pain tolerance and the area treated. Typically, areas close to the bone can be more sensitive to the heat. We do use numbing creams before this treatment.
